COMPUTER APPLICATIONS 9, 10 Credit: ½ (CDHE-Academic Elective)
This course teaches students advanced computer skills in Microsoft by utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, presentations,
software and desktop publications. Note: students will also learn and enhance keyboarding skills.
Software units include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs, and much more. This is a great class to enhance students' technology
skills for their high school years and beyond.
WEB DESIGN 10, 11, 12 Credit ½ (CDHE-Academic Elective)
Students will learn to create, design and publish information on the World Wide Web using state-of-the-art technology. HTML coding will
be taught in depth and students will be able to critique business and personal websites for their visual appearance and content. Students
will publish various websites using Dreamweaver Software. Students will also be able to alter pictures using PhotoShop software, create
their own graphics, and other parts of a functional website.
ADVANCED WEB DESIGN 11, 12 Credit ½ (CDHE – Academic Elective)
This course continues the skills developed in the Web Design course. Students will learn the skills to create interactive websites, and to
utilize state of the art tools to create graphics, animations, and sound. Students will update and maintain the Northglenn High School
website using Dreamweaver software.
Prerequisite: Web Design or Instructor Approval.
